Upper Street- Design your own shoes!

I'm a big ole procrastinator. My favourite new procrastinating tool is Upper Street. It's a luxury shoe designing company which has the most fun website. You can design your own shoes choosing the style, colour, texture, how many straps you want on your shoes if any and so much more. The best part? You can actually purchase the shoes after you design them!

Here are a few of my own creations:

Although they do come with a hefty price tag they would make a lovely, personal, gift and as the shoes are made of high quality materials they do tend to last a while. Visit the website (here).

Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation

I have never stayed loyal to a foundation. Some days i like dewy, some days i like matte, some days i like warm tones and some days i like cold. I'm just very indecisive!

This foundation is my warm, dewy foundation.

In the bottle it looks shimmery, don't be put off by this! As soon as the product is put on your skin the shimmer disappears and leaves a lovely natural glow.

I don't have particularly bad skin so the product's low-medium coverage is no problem for me but if you need heavy coverage you would need two pumps which uses the product more so other products may be a better option.

During the summer to get that extra glow i mix in my Benefit's High beam with it, it looks so healthy and lets you fake the "I've spent the last month laying on a beach in Fiji without a care in the world" glow.

No face make-up at all:

Just Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation:

Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation and Benefit High beam:

It's great for sufferers of dry skin as it leaves you skin feeling moisturised. It's extremely reasonably priced at £8.99 and is one of the best high street foundations around. Buy Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation : (here) Buy Benefit's High beam: (here)

Holland and Barrett Sleeping beauty box

I'm extremely energetic. Now, this is great throughout the day as it means i'm always alert but it's not ideal when it comes to sleeping. So when the lovely people at Holland and Barrett put together a beauty box to aid peaceful sleeping it's safe to say i was thrilled. The Sleeping beauty box* came in a beautiful white box wrapped with a green ribbon and filled with goodies.

Wonder Oil: Buy (here)
This smells divine. It smells fruity and has a touch of spice. To me, the leading scent is grapefruit. This product can be used as a hot hair oil, for massages, as a cleanser, to moisturise cuticles, in the bath, on the tips of your hair and so much more. Now, that's what i call a multi-use product! I like to use this after shaving as an intense moisturising treatment and also in the bath so the smell fills the bathroom. Yum.

Cherry juice concentrate: Buy (here)
Cherries contain the sleep hormone melatonin; I didn't find that it put me to sleep. However, i did find it hugely relaxing. I mixed 3 tsp in a warm mug of water before i went to bed and found it really soothing. You can also put it in cold water and use as a refreshing beverage before an exam, test etc. to calm nerves. It's naturally sweet so you don't have to add any sugar which makes it an extremely healthy alternative for squash, ribena etc. It also works well in smoothies to add taste. This product has a large variety of ways you can use it and i highly recommend buying it if you find it hard to unwind or find yourself getting anxious before things like exams.

Lavender Oil: Buy (here)
Lavender is one of my favourite scents so i was really excited to test this out. It's recommended that you put a few drops on your pillow (i used 2-3 drops) but i like to do a drop on each of my wrists as well. It's hugely relaxing, i found that i drifted off to sleep within 20 minutes of using this product. The scent is strong but not overpowering. It's more of a sweet lavender smell than english lavender which i tend to prefer but it's really subjective to the user.

Dr. Organic Night Cream: Buy (here)
This cream is an extremely thick overnight treatment which has a gorgeous spicy scent. Unlike most overnight creams, this sinks right into your skin and doesn't leave it looking or feeling sticky. It's an intense moisturiser and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Ideal for sufferers of dry skin. This product can also act as a toning treatment.

I hope you find this post helpful and if you're looking for an excuse to buy all of these, it's national sleeping month! So you'd be a little bit of a spoil-sport if you didn't join in... right? My favourite product was the lavender oil as i felt it was the most soothing and helped me get a good nights sleep, so if you buy just one of these items let it be this one! Hugely impressed by these products from Holland and Barrett and will definitely reviewing more in the future.
